  • Compaction to be done at optimum moisture content of soil.

3. PLAIN CEMENT CONCRETE (PCC)

  • Plain Cement Concrete (PCC) of 1:4:8 (1 Cement: 4 Sand: 8 Coarse Aggregate) mix proportion will be used for the foundation of footings, plinth beams, plinth protection works, rafts, floor slabs, etc.
  • The sizes of coarse aggregates used for PCC are 40mm down mixed aggregates (comprising of 40mm, 20mm, and 12-10mm aggregate mix).
  • The PCC shall be laid on the prepared/compacted soil surface to the required line and level, and the thickness of PCC will be as per the drawings and specifications.
  • Curing shall be carried out after laying PCC.

4. REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE (RCC): M-20 Grade

  • The Reinforced Cement Concrete of M-20 grade is used for the construction of footings, pedestals, columns, etc.
